This handmade artist’s book contains an alphabetical list of Ghost Estates in Ireland in 2010. At this time, there were 621 ghost estates scattered around in Ireland, abandoned sites of concrete dreams.

The figures are taken from the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government’s Unfinished Housing Estate Survey October 2010 and the All-Island Research Observatory Housing map analysis toolkit.

I created this artist’s book as a homage to these discarded constructions across our rural landscape.
