Calling

These collages are an exploration of architectural structures as icons of economic orthodoxies. After the 2008 economic recession, the free market was suddenly thrown into a state of fragility; resulting in a stage of hypertension that saturated society, politics and the media.

I used snippets from newspapers, magazines and disposable advertising material, juxtaposing them with hollowed out images of industrial, military and architectural triumph.
