For this solo exhibition at the Return at the Goethe Institut, Dublin (April 2006), I produced this series of collages while on residency at the Custom House Studios in Westport, Co Mayo. The collages explore some of my early childhood memories of holidaying in Westport, memories that have become exaggerated and distorted over the years. I used a mixture of drawings, mono-prints, photocopies, botanical illustrations and other gathered materials.
